Pokey Bolton Moves On

Pokey Bolton announced that there is a shakeup at Quilting Arts. You can read the whole deal on her blog. I’d like my title to be Chief Creative Officer. I’ll get right on that.

I would have kept this news for a Various and Sundry post, since this is the perfect tidbit for that kind of post.  I didn’t want to be posting it in 3-4 weeks, however.

  1. Whoa! Thanks for the info.

I’m with you and want to add “CCO” to my name. Now to find someone who will pay me to do that!

Since you seem to be in the quilty-know, do you know what’s going on at Fabric Trends? I’m dying of curiousity and can’t find anything on the net about it.

      1. It just seemed strange to me that his name would be taken off the magazine completely, though. The cover doesn’t say “Mark Lipinski’s Fabric Trends” this month like it did last issue. Well, I really hope he gets better soon; he seems like such a geniunely nice person. And the magazine was NOT the same without him this time. Thanks for the info.

    1. Hello,
      w
Was soooo sad when I got to my DVR and you were not on….
Almost cried. I have enjoyed you all through the years, when you were a guest on different shows and then your own show.
      will miss you.

  2. I really do not like the new host. She runs her mouth so much the poor guest can hardly get a word in. If she let the guest explain what it is they do instead of trying to sound like she knows everything the show would be better. I watch but only after I record it and bleep out the parts that bother me, Susan! She drives me nuts and my friends say the same thing.

    1. my thoughts exactly, she’s obnoxious thats why I stopped watching the show. she needs to chill! the experts are on to show and explain their crafts not for her to do it.
