Some EPP Progress

I finally took a little time to finish the larger piece.

I had sewn two sides of the yellow and red star segment onto the larger piece, but I hadn’t finished sewing the rest of the sides of the two piece segment onto the larger piece.

The folded over bits waiting to be sewn finally started to bug me. I took some time on Friday night to stitch the last remaining sides.

  1. wow is all I have to say…. I can not see myself doing something this intricate … love the colors ( my favorites ) they are the ones I associate with your quilts…what technique are you using?

    1. English paper piecing. There are papers from Paperpieces.com inside the outside half hexies. It really isn’t very intricate, though there are a couple of steps. I baste the fabrics to the paper then I whipstitch 6 pieces together. It is a way to keep myself busy in the car.
