Creativity Color Inspiration

I don’t know when I took this photo or where I was, but it is an interesting view.

The palette I built has many more cool colors than I expected. I can see the reasoning when I look very closely.

If you generate a palette put a link in the comments of this post, so I can see it. Post the direct URL (link) where your drawing, doodle, artwork is posted (e.g. your blog, Flickr) in the comments area of this post. I would really like to keep all the work together and provide a way for others to see your work and get familiar with your blog or website.

The Creative Prompt Project, which we will continue to use for other creative activities, has a Flickr group. You can join to  post your creative endeavors. I created this spot so those of you without blogs and websites would have a place to post your responses. Thanks for reading.

  1. Oh, I like this palette. I might want my blues a tad bit brighter, but very pretty just the way it is. I’m thinking of buying a mechanical Janome, not too old, but all metal if possible. I don’t know which one to get. There’s a Janome shop downtown that’s been there only a few years, but everything they have probably has got electronics. I wouldn’t mind electronics, but I’ve been watching some quilting sites for years and so many say the electronics goes in a few years. I can’t afford to replace another one, so I want a mechanical one, but with more stitches than I have now. The good thing is I now have what they call overcasting and overlocking stitches, which I don’t think are on a lot of machines made today, but I want a blanket stitch, which I don’t currently have. DH says I can’t have 3 machines, so I need to find one that has overcasting, overlocking, and blanket stitch along with some other commonly used ones. I’m not really into a lot of decorative stitches, so basic ones. Do you have any ideas which Janome would have all 3 and still be mechanical? How can I find out? I’ve never used a Janome, so not familiar with them. I need one that is quiet, too, if that’s possible and can handle machine quilting. Not asking much, am I? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
