TNARQ was created for the NOTRAD travelling show by the same name. At the time, there was a lot of drama around what was a quilt and what was not a quilt, thus the name stands for This is Not a Real Quilt. It was displayed in Lyon, France at the Quilt Expo. The quilt is made of six layers which allows it to open and close. It is the second in a series of woven quilts.
